These terms last updated 29 August 2026. They govern RewireSim on the device you are using and, if you sign in, the copy in your RewireSim account. English law of England and Wales applies.
RewireSim is a drafting tool for a qualified UK electrician. You add photos of a job, or type the work by hand, and you get a labour and materials draft in pounds that you can edit.
A job photo stays the photo you took. RewireSim does not redraw it. It does not draw a cable path or a board, and it does not invent a finished look.
You can mark a socket, light, or switch on that photo. The mark is where you placed it. It is not a measured drawing and it does not set the price.
This figure is an indicative estimate, not a fixed quote, not a site visit, not an EICR, not a design, and not Building Control. A photo is not a measurement. This paper never prints Zs from a photo.
Quotes stay drafts until you check them. Checking a draft is your act. RewireSim does not send the paper to a customer.
RewireSim does not email your customers. It does not take a live card. App mail is from hello@rewiresim.com. Product support is support@rewiresim.com.
Sign in with your email (a one-time code or a magic link). Jobs stay on this device. A signed-in copy sits in your RewireSim account so a lost phone can restore it. RewireSim does not read your jobs to sell them.
This sign-in is for you, the electrician. Your customers do not get a RewireSim login. RewireSim does not email them a quote, and there is no customer portal in this version.
If you are a customer of an electrician, stop here. There is no quote to collect, no portal, and RewireSim does not email you a paper. This login is for the electrician who drafted the work.
If an electrician quoted you, that paper is theirs. RewireSim does not keep a quote inbox for customers, does not email you a quote, and does not issue a customer password. There is nothing here to collect.
If you are the electrician, this URL is the same sign-in as Sign in. A one-time code goes to your email so a lost phone can restore jobs. It exists so guessed customer links do not 404.
Lost phone: sign in on a new phone with the same email. The account copy comes back. Wiping this browser does not delete the account.
Plus is an electrician subscription. Two free quotes on this device. Then Plus, £14.99 a month inc VAT unless a later price is shown on Account. Checking and sharing a further quote needs Plus. Typing a quote stays open. It is not a customer payment and it never appears on the customer paper.
PWA and web use Stripe Checkout and the Stripe billing portal. Native Apple and Google use RevenueCat in-app purchase. Both webhooks write one plus_until timestamp, plus three days’ grace. This browser never writes that column.
It renews until cancelled. Manage subscription on the Stripe portal (web) or the OS subscription screen (Apple and Google). Restore purchases on a reinstall. The order button will say the price, inc VAT, and “with obligation to pay” before a live charge exists. The 14-day distance-contract right is honoured. No offer on the way out.

RewireSim is not NICEIC, not NAPIT, not a competent person scheme, and not a substitute for BS 7671:2018+A4:2026 competence.
These never-claims sit on About and the legal pages. RewireSim does not print them on a customer quote.
You may note Part P as a job the electrician still has to do. That is remaining work, not a badge, and not a claim that the install is compliant.
You are the electrician. You decide what goes on the paper, what you charge, and whether the work is safe and notifiable. If a photo does not show a rating, a count, a cable size, or a scheme number, you must type it or leave it blank. RewireSim must not invent it.
A photo-only figure is an indicative estimate. It is not a promise that the labour hours, materials, or total will match the finished job. Visit the site before you treat the figure as firm.
When you issue a quotation to a customer, that quotation is yours. RewireSim is not a party to it. Acceptance, variations, and payment are between you and your customer.
Starter catalogue prices are not live merchant prices. Your hourly rate in Settings is a starter until you set your own. VAT is off until you say you are registered. RewireSim uses one rate from Settings. It does not invent 0% or 5% relief from a photo.
Draft sends these photos and your typed notes to xAI (SpaceXAI / Grok) to produce a labour and materials draft. They stay on this device, and in your RewireSim account if you are signed in, until you tap Draft. RewireSim does not use them for advertising. The result is an indicative estimate, not a site visit.
You may type a quote without drafting. You do not have to send photos anywhere to use RewireSim.
Do not upload photographs of children, or of anything you do not have a right to use for this purpose. RewireSim is a trades tool, not a children’s product.
Jobs, settings, photos, and clients sit in this browser. This device is the working copy. If you sign in, the same records are also saved to your RewireSim account under owner-only row-level security that is forced on every account table, so a lost phone can restore them.
You remain the controller of your customers’ details. Bond Labs stores that copy as a processor, only on your instruction, to provide the account and restore a lost phone. We do not market to your customers.
The account is stored on RewireSim’s own Supabase project in London (eu-west-2). Owner-only row-level security is forced: only your signed-in user can read your rows, and a job_id or storage path cannot point at another electrician’s row. The browser never uses a service_role key. A European region is not the same as “GDPR certified”, and we do not claim that.
If you clear the browser without signing in, that local copy is gone unless you exported a JSON file. If you signed in, sign in on a new phone with the same email. The account copy comes back, including photos.
The JSON export does not include photo files. See Privacy for what leaves the device, and Support for how to remove the copy on this browser.
Use RewireSim only to draft electrical quotations for work you are competent to carry out, or to practise that drafting on this device.
RewireSim is provided as-is. We do not warrant that a photo draft is complete, that hours are enough, or that a material from the catalogue is the right accessory for the job.
To the fullest extent permitted by the law of England and Wales, Bond Labs Limited is not liable for loss of profit, loss of a contract, missed notifiable work, fire, shock, or any loss that follows from you issuing or following a draft you did not check.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, or any other liability that English law does not allow us to exclude.
If you are using RewireSim in the course of a business, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 implied terms that apply only to consumers do not apply to that use.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may still seek an injunction where your use of the product is unlawful.
